More than 300 job vacancies from various mining related companies in Davao Region will be offered in the Labor Day Job Fair on May 1, 2025 in Davao de Oro.
Among those who will be joining the Job Fair are Apex Mining Company, Inc., Hexat Mining Corporation, China International Water and Electric Corporation, Hallmark Mining Corporation, Arc Nickel Resource Inc., and Maria Social General Services Inc.
The Job Fair will be conducted at the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School gym as part of the Small Scale Mining Summit organized by the Department of Labor and Employment – Davao de Oro Field Office for the 123rd Labor Day celebration with the theme, ‘Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas.’
Interested job seekers are encouraged to wear proper attire and bring application letter, biodata/resume, diploma/transcript of records, 2×2 ID picture, and certificate from TESDA, if any during activity.
Neil Allan Baban, provincial director of DOLE Davao de Oro said that the summit will emphasize on the need for the small scale miners to avail of government social services by registering to Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Employees’ Compensation Commission.
“Ang summit atol pud na siya sa Mining Industry Tripartite Council second quarter meeting, mahisgutan pud ang ilang sitwasyon,” said Provincial Director Baban.
