CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Mindoro State University (MinSU) vows to ensure gender inclusivity and equality for all.
In her message during the launching of the Women’s Month Celebration in the university, March 3, MinSU president, Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, reaffirmed her commitment to uphold the rights of everyone regardless of gender, citing the importance of creating an environment where all have equal opportunities.
“Sa pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month, hindi lang ito para sa mga kababaihan dahil dito pantay-pantay tayong lahat– walang babae, walang lalaki, walang ibang gender preferences, kasi lahat tayo ay pantay-pantay ang karapatan,” she said.

As the university’s first female president, Apostol called on the MinSU community to actively contribute to building a just and equitable society.
“As we celebrate National Women’s Month, let us renew our commitment to creating a future where every individual, especially women, has the opportunity to reach their full potential,” she said.
The event, led by the university’s Women, Gender, and Development Unit, marks the beginning of a month-long series of activities aimed at strengthening gender awareness and empowerment within the MinSU community.
This year’s celebration is anchored on the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” which highlights the crucial role of women in nation-building. (JRR/PIA MIMAROPA OJT/Photos from MinSU)
