OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA) — The provincial government of Misamis Occidental held a recognition ceremony to commend members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for their role in anti-drug operations.
“You are not just law enforcers—you are protectors of our communities,” said Governor Henry Oaminal during the event.
The awards recognized the PNP’s contributions to maintaining peace and supporting anti-drug efforts across the province.
The provincial government noted that improved security has supported local economic growth and transition to first-class provincial status. Accordingly, the PNP’s involvement in ensuring the safe conduct of major events such as the 95th Provincial Anniversary, Palarong Pampook 2025, and Pamaskong Handog.
The provincial government also urged the police force to uphold integrity, professionalism, and public service. “Our vision for Asenso Misamis Occidental is based on peace, development, and public trust,” the Governor said.
