The road project has a total length of 600 linear meters, a carriageway width of 5.00 meters, an undefined shoulder width of 1.50 meters on both sides, and a lined canal. It connects Libertad Bajo to Barangay Katipunan in Sinacaban, which was allotted a budget of more than P9 million. Also, the Colupan bridge cost more than P12 million.
The road and bridge project provides safety to the traveling public and creates economic activity among neighboring municipalities.
Meanwhile, the classroom buildings at the Libertad Bajo Integrated School in Sinacaban, amounting to more than P18 million, will cater to elementary and high school learners. The classroom will provide a more convenient learning space for learners at the remote school.
Improved physical connectivity will always be a vital facet of the province’s expansion efforts, as outlined in the Asenso administration.
That is why the provincial government, through the effort of Governor Oaminal, is more determined than ever to pursue projects that would realize the dream of a stronger and more interconnected Misamis Occidental. (PGMO/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
