JIMENEZ, Misamis Occidental (PIA) — The provincial government of Misamis Occidental led the inauguration, groundbreaking, and turnover of several infrastructure projects in the municipality of Jimenez on March 10.
“These projects are not just buildings; they reflect our commitment to improving public services, enhancing livelihoods, and raising the quality of life for all,” said Governor Henry Oaminal.
Among the inaugurated projects were a P10-M road concreting and spillway in Brgy. Carmen, and a P6.19-M multi-purpose building in the same barangay. Groundbreaking ceremonies were also held for P6.5M multi-purpose buildings in Brgy. San Isidro, Gata, and Dicolog. These projects aim to improve access to services.
Another project is the P10-M Jimenez Public Market Multi-Purpose Building, funded by Representative Jason Almonte, to support local commerce.
Oaminal emphasized that the projects were locally funded. “This is a collective achievement—proof of what we can accomplish when we work together. With your continued support, there are no limits to what Misamis Occidental can achieve,” he added. (Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental
