[I’m thankful for this program. I’m happy because I have additional money to buy notebooks, bags and other school supplies for my children, as well as for their allowance.]
The payout was done in partnership with Abra Congresswoman Menchie ‘Ching’ Bernos.
Under the General Appropriations Act, P26 billion was appropriated for the AKAP program for this Fiscal Year 2024. It is one of the government’s approaches in addressing inflation and protect the purchasing power of low-income earning Filipinos. (CAGT-PIA CAR, Abra)
