“This activity is lucratively important in upbringing the talents of our students in aesthetic views, specifically in painting, as support for the on-going-18-day campaign,” he said.

Cue said VAWC is a universal issue and the institution plays a crucial role in creating awareness and combating such exigencies in the community.

Participating students also expressed gratitude for the conduct of said activity.

“We are very thankful for this free and engaging activity for VAWC. It is important to be knowledgeable about this type of issue, the earlier the better for us to know what to do and not to do,” Edwin Kalagui Gomez II said.

Said activity aims to develop the artistic skills of the participating students, and to advocate for social change by sending messages about ending VAWC through artworks.

Outputs of the activity with the title ”Brushing Off Violence:A Student Art Exhibit on Ending VAWC” are now on display at the school campus for everyone to see, appreciate and contemplate on. (JDP/CVT- PIA-CAR, Mt. Province)
