Move It donates helmets for MMDA’s riding academy

PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Good news! To further promote road safety, ride-haling firm Move It donated 100 motorcycle helmets to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Motorcycle Riding Academy (MRA).

MMDA Chair Atty. Don Artes received the helmets and thanked Move It. Likewise, MMDA Deputy Chair Usec. Frisco San Juan, Jr. emphasized road discipline, which is an important part of the partnership.

For his part, Move It head of strategy, Cesar Roxas and chief operating officer, RJ Cabaluna expressed their hopes that the helmets will help attract more people to enroll in MMDA’s free and responsible motorcycle riding education program. Roxas added the important role of the riding academy in promoting road safety.

MRA continues to accept walk-in and online applicants. Just bring a government-issued ID and helmet.

The riding academy is located at J. Vargas Ave. corner Meralco Ave., Pasig City. It is open from Monday to Saturday. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
