QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — In celebration of Women’s Month, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) reports the number of female passengers who have availed of the libreng sakay at the MRT-3.
According to DOTr, 44,872 female passengers enjoyed the libreng sakay at the MRT-3 on March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The libreng sakay is MRT-3’s way of recognizing and thanking women for their important role in the society.
Meanwhile, MRT-3 also provided female passengers free fans last March 7 as part of the Women’s Month celebration. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
