MRT-3 suspends train operations from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — In observance of Holy Week, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced that the operations of the MRT-3 will be temporarily suspended to accommodate maintenance activities.

Train operations will be suspended starting Maundy Thursday, April 17, until Easter Sunday, April 20.

According to MRT-3, the extended weekday operating hours will be observed on Wednesday, April 16, with the last train trips at 10:30 p.m. from North Avenue Station, and 11:09 p.m. from Taft Avenue Station.

Regular train operations will resume on Monday, April 21, with its first train trips scheduled at 4:30 am from North Avenue Station, and 5:05 am from Taft Avenue Station.
