Muntinlupa police teaches safety, security to grade school students

MUNTINLUPA CITY, (PIA) — Ensuring the safety and security of children, the Muntinlupa City Police extended their profession in educating grade school students by empowering them with valuable information.

Around 600 grade school students from the Bayanan Elementary School-Main in Muntinlupa City recently participated in the lectures provided by the personnel from the city police.

The students were provided with valuable information on anti-illegal drugs, anti-criminality, and anti-terrorism.

According to the Muntinlupa City Police, the initiative is aligned with ‘Project READY’ or Resistance Education Against Drugs for the Youth led by the Philippine National Police (PNP), which aims to promote safety and security within the school environment.

City police officers also introduced to students the eGovPH app that provides students a valuable tool for communication and access to important information. The eGovPH app is downloadable via Google Play and Apple Store. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
