SAN JOSE, Antique –The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Region 6 recently conducted the first Barangay e-Blotter System Training for the barangay officials of Bugasong, Antique.
Municipal information officer Richard Francisco reported that the training is in preparation for the implementation of the Barangay e-Blotter System.
The program is a web and mobile browser-based application used to record, track, and report crime incidents to the barangay and PNP Stations via desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. It aims to properly track and eventually help prevent crime incidents.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Robert Mansueto, project director of Brgy. e-Blotter System discussed the salient features and initiated the training and workshop for the barangay officials.
Mansueto emphasized the importance of harmonizing barangay incident reports at the local level.
NAPOLCOM 6 Regional Director lawyer Jerome Lb. Asuga was represented by Alfonso Combong, III, who discussed the legal basis of the program.
