Since 1969, the National Electrification Administration (NEA) has been overseeing the installation and functions of countryside electrical systems in the Philippines.
The NEA celebrates its 54th anniversary and 14th annual National Electrification Awareness Month with the theme, “Total Electrification by 2028”.
As part of the celebration, NEA also recognizes the hard work of Electric Cooperatives ECs) in lighting the country through the years. With this, it is just right for consumers to know more about the relationship between NEA and ECs including the Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001.
