The National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) for 2023 highlights the environmental and marine protection, aquatic and natural resources, and how innovations can address the challenges faced by different sectors and areas in the country.
Since the Philippines is an archipelago, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
focuses the celebration of the NSTW 2023 on “Creating and Protecting Wealth for a Sustainable Blue Economy” and hosting it in the Iloilo, Visayas Region which is known for its strength in marine industry.
