NCRCOM reaffirms commitment to inclusivity during Ramadan

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — As Metro Manila observes the holy month of Ramadan, the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines has reiterated its dedication to promoting inclusivity and solidarity with the Muslim community, through its ongoing Iftar Offerings initiative.

BGEN Eric A. Macaambac, Commander of NCRCOM, emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating, “This noble effort not only demonstrates our respect for the Islamic faith but also strengthens the bonds of unity and mutual understanding within our diverse communities.”

The Iftar Offerings are designed to bring together individuals from various backgrounds, fostering a spirit of Bayanihan—an enduring tradition of communal unity and cooperation in the Philippines.

Macaambac highlighted that this initiative embodies the values of peace, harmony, and compassion throughout the National Capital Region.

Our collective efforts during this holy month reflect our commitment to building a society where everyone feels valued and respected,” he added, encouraging all citizens to join in the spirit of solidarity as they observe Ramadan. (JCO/PIA-NCR)
