PASIG CITY, (PIA) — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has deployed police personnel and provided disaster response to communities affected by Tropical Storm Enteng that brought heavy rains in Metro Manila, Monday.
NCRPO chief PMGen Jose Melenco Nartatez, Jr. assured residents of Metro Manila that the NCRPO is fully prepared and ready to respond to the challenges brought about by ‘Enteng.’
According to NCRPO, hundreds of police personnel were strategically deployed across key areas to ensure the safety and security of our communities.
Police personnel were deployed in evacuation centers, provided security in critical infrastructure, and assisted in traffic management to ensure that roads remained clear and safe despite the adverse weather conditions.
Additionally, NCRPO’s Search, Rescue, and Retrieval units were on high alert and ready to respond to emergencies.
The NCRPO likewise prepared teams to launch relief operations to aid affected communities.
Meanwhile, NCRPO chief Nartatez encouraged the public to stay vigilant, heed the advisories issued by local authorities, and take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety, as he assured that the Metro Manila police force is fully dedicated to protecting and serving the communities.
