QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief PBGen Anthony A. Aberin commended Metro Manila police personnel for ensuring order and safety of churchgoers during the nine-day novena mass.
“Our comprehensive security coverage delivered a peaceful and secure Simbang-Gabi in Metro Manila and this operational success will be our benchmark as I lead members of NCRPO in continuing this momentum as we approach the New Year celebration,” Aberin said.
Aberin said the NCRPO achieved zero major security incidents throughout the traditional dawn masses. This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of proactive and strategic personnel deployment to address potential threats and ensure public safety.
The NCRPO chief also assured the public that heightened security measures will remain in place through Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve celebrations to guarantee the safety and peace of all Metro Manila residents.
