QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — This holiday season, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) heightens its on-ground security to ensure peace and order, and safety in Metro Manila.
“As members of the police force, we must ensure that our countrymen will have a safe and secure environment during the holiday season. To all NCRPO personnel, let us be there on the ground, ABLE, ACTIVE, and ALLIED in performing our solemn function of delivering peace and security in Metro Manila,” NCRPO chief PBGen Anthony A. Aberin said.
The head of the NCRPO conducted assessments of terminals, transportation hubs, and other locations where crowds are likely to gather. This inspection is a component of the NCRPO’s enhanced security protocols and partnership with stakeholders to ensure the safety of travelers and commuters during the busy holiday season.

Likewise, Aberin underscored the importance of vigilance and professionalism in law enforcement, reminding all personnel to adhere to the fundamental principles of effective policing. He reiterated to the police personnel that they should be able, active, and allied to deliver their police functions during the holidays.
He emphasized to police personnel on post the importance of observing the basics and adherence to the police operational procedures, as he also ensured the morale and welfare of those on duty were given equal importance and attention.
