QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched a new satellite office at Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas, aimed at making it easier for the public to settle traffic violation fines and process essential documents.
During the office’s inauguration on Monday, MMDA Acting Chairperson Atty. Don Artes emphasized the importance of accessibility in government services.
“The goal of this partnership with Robinson’s Land Corporation is to make the settlement of traffic fine-related concerns easier and more accessible to our valued stakeholders,” Artes said.
The new facility, situated at the Lingkod Pinoy Center on the mall’s lower ground floor, will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Services offered include the payment of MMDA-issued traffic fines, lifting of alarms for drivers listed by the Land Transportation Office, and processing of driver clearances to confirm the absence of pending traffic violations.
This initiative follows a memorandum of agreement between the MMDA and Robinson’s Land Corporation, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to bringing government services closer to residents.
For those unable to visit the satellite office, the settlement of traffic violations can still be conducted at the MMDA’s head office in Pasig City or through designated payment centers across Metro Manila. (GLG/PIA-NCR)
