VALENZUELA CITY, (PIA) — Good news! Valenzuela City now has a new venue for sports, social gatherings, school events, and emergency preparedness programs.
The project, completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways – Metro Manila 3rd District Engineering Office, is located at Barangay Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City.
According to DPWH-NCR, the new multi-purpose building is surrounded by residential, commercial, and industrial zones.
This initiative optimizes the limited urban space of the Barangay by providing a basketball court, parking area, and evacuation center, serving both Pio Carreon Elementary School, and the local community.
Likewise, the multi-purpose building fosters community interaction, enhances convenience, and improves the overall quality of life for residents, students, and faculty. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
