BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) – The Department of Public Works and Highways has completed a new Multi-Purpose Building in Barangay Decabacan in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya to provide comfortable hub for government services for the villagers.
DPWH First District Engineer Marifel Andes said the P5 million two-story building has ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, and a designated fire exit.
It also features separate comfort rooms for men, women, and persons with disabilities (PWD).
She said the new multi-purpose building houses key offices which include the Punong Barangay’s office, a session hall, and a workspace for barangay staff, ensuring an organized environment for the administration of governance and delivery of public service.
“The new multi-purpose building will enhance service delivery, improve local governance, and offer a venue for various community activities and meetings. It will provide a conducive space for barangay operations and events, fostering unity and engagement among residents,” Andes said.
The construction of the multi-purpose building was funded under the agency’s 2024 Regular Infrastructure Program. (BME/PIA NVizcaya)
