MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s satisfaction and trust ratings rose in a new survey released by Tangere, which uses a mobile application platform found in Google Play and App Store.
A report released by the online news site of the Manila Bulletin said the survey was conducted from September 16 to 19.
The news report noted that from August to September this year, President Marcos’ satisfaction and trust ratings rose from 46 percent to 46.4 percent and from 58.5 percent to 58.8 percent, respectively.
The report said the numbers of Vice President Sara Duterte experienced a slight decline.
The highest levels of satisfaction and trust for the president were reported in Northern Luzon and Central Luzon, particularly among respondents age 26 to 35.
The same report said Vice President Duterte’s satisfaction rating decreased from 49 percent to 48.7 percent, and her trust rating fell from 57 percent to 56.8 percent.
The vice president’s dissatisfaction and distrust scores are most pronounced in Central Luzon, Northern Luzon, and Southern Luzon, the report said.
The survey included 2,000 participants from across the Philippines — 12 percent from the National Capital Region, 23 percent from Northern Luzon, 22 percent from Southern Luzon, 20 percent from the Visayas, and 23 percent from Mindanao. It has a margin of error of +/- 2.2 percent at a 95 percent confidence level, the Manila Bulletin report added. (PIA)
