QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will start this week a dry run for a new traffic scheme to be implemented along ADB Avenue, from J. Vargas to Ortigas Avenue.

The new traffic scheme is part of the Active Transport Program being conducted through the Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR).

The dry run activities will be done to pave the way for the proposed active transport improvement project for bike lanes to be implemented in the said area by the DOTr, in collaboration with DPWH-NCR, and Ortigas Center Association, Inc. (OCAI).

Motorists are advised to expect changes in traffic flow due to some lane reconfiguration.

The DPWH assures motorists that the new traffic scheme will ensure improvement of road safety, and convenience to all road users. (DPWH-NCR/PIA-NCR)
