QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will repair the EDSA Timog Flyover-Southbound starting June 25, 2022.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the full closure of the EDSA Timog flyover will give way to its repair which will take one month.

We are advising the public to plan their trips and take alternate routes as the DPWH repairs the flyover. Total closure of the bridge has to be implemented considering that the construction works have to be done without any vibration movement. Repairs will be done manually without heavy equipment” said MMDA Chairperson Romando Artes.

The repairs, spanning 30 meters, include the reconstruction of the damaged bridge diaphragm and the construction of a new bridge deck slab for the flyover.
