MisOcc PPO culminates 27th PCR Month

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)--Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office held its 27th Police Community Relations (PCR) month culmination program with the theme, “Ugnayang Pulisya at Kominidad Tungo sa Mapayapa, Maayos at Maunlad na Pamayanan.”

The support of the community is vital in increasing the PNP’s effectiveness in enforcing the law, reducing crime and maintaining peace which remain the priority order under CPNP’s Intensified Cleanliness Policy.

Guest of Honor and Speaker, Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) Oroquieta Outreach Head Kane Alfonso Iyog said they have been very supportive of the programs, projects and activities of the police.

He emphasized on the need for the community and the police to have constant communication and collaboration.

The celebration was highlighted by the presentation of a plaque of recognition and awards to the PNP personnel for their accomplishment and different stakeholders for the unwavering support extended to Team MisOcc PPO in its programs and thrusts especially in community policing.

Plaques of recognition were given to Kane Alfonso Iyog of BCBP Oroquieta Outreach Head, Ozorditransco represented by Mr. Mariano Gumapac- Vice Chairman of Ozorditransco, Mr. Mark Augustus Campomanes of RMS Recording Studio, Mr. Reginald E. Dalis of Decal Fix Sticker Garage.

Meanwhile, some PNP Personnel were also awarded based on the unit award for Most Outstanding Police Station, Municipal level is awarded to Calamba Municipal Police Station received by Police Major June Jose Daral Booc, OIC of Calamba MPS, Most Outstanding Junior PCO is awarded to PLt. Desiree B. Relos, Oroquieta CPS, certificate of appreciation is given to PLt. Florentino F. Relos, Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office (MOCPPO) Medical Dental Team, Most Outstanding Junior PNCO is awarded to PSSg Happy B. Reuyan and Most Junior PNCO is awarded to PCpl George C. Paano.

The activity became instrumental to recognize PNP members of MisOcc PPO with their commitment and dedication to fulfill the organization’s mission of enforcing the law, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and internal security with the active support of the community.
