NV PLGU brings aid for Abra quake victims

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - -  The provincial government here recently brought assistance to the earthquake victims in Abra province.

Provincial Administrator Maybelle Blossom Dumlao-Sevillena and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Robert Corpuz led the team in bringing the province’s assistance to Abra province.

Dumlao – Sevillena said the relief assistance was composed of financial as well as food items which were delivered to Abra Governor Dominic Valera.

She said these assistance were donations and contributions within the provincial government and national government agencies, private organizations and  individuals amounting to  P218, 245.

Dumlao-Sevillena said the PLGU also gave P.5 million for Abra earthquake victims aside from various food items.

“These donations and assistance were realized through our 'One Nueva Vizcaya for Abra Donation Drive'.  We are very much grateful for our fellow Novo Vizcayanos for their help and other donors. Again, we have shown our unity and support for our fellow Filipinos who were victims of disasters and calamities,” she said. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
