SAN FERNANDO CITY, Nov. 21 (PIA) – The Social Security System (SSS) meets its members and employers on Tuesday, November 22, at Awesome Hotel in San Juan town for this year’s SSS Stakeholders' Forum.

SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Micheal Regino is present to personally provide updates and programs of SSS to its members from La Union.

According to Christian Andrew Rillorta, regional communications officer of SSS Luzon North 1 Division, new programs that will benefit economy workers will be announced.

“The Contribution Subsidy Provider Program, Flexible Payment for Farmers and Fisherfolks Program, and Condonation Programs for Loans will be unveiled and discussed,” Rillorta said.

Around 100 members from agriculture, cooperatives, transportation, informal, and media sectors are attending the forum.

The La Union leg is the third Stakeholders' Forum to be conducted nationwide.

The state agency’s Visayas leg was the first and was held in Bacolod City on Nov. 8 while the Mindanao leg was held in Davao City on Nov.15. (JCR/JPD, PIA La Union)
