QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday, Dec. 1, will lead the launching of “Kadiwa ng Pasko” in Quezon City at the Quezon City Hall, an event that seeks to provide a market for local agricultural producers while at the same time giving the public access to affordable and highquality products.
Marcos will be joined by Mayor Joy Belmonte, Trade and Industry, Agriculture, other national and local officials during the opening of the caravan.
The project was launched in coordination with the Department of Agriculture to address inflation by providing the people with affordable goods, especially during the Christmas season.
Support agencies include the Departments of Trade and Industry, Interior and Local Government, Social Welfare and Development as well as Labor and Employment.
The program aims to provide a market for local farmers and fishermen for their produce as well as small business enterprises selling basic necessities. (PIA-NCR)
