11 MP exhibitors generate P2.1M sales in  2022 IMPAKABSAT Trade Fair

BONTOC, Mountain Province (PIA)--The IMPAKABSAT Trade Fair once again proved that it is a vital   platform for   Cordillera Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to market their products and open networking opportunities.

The Department of Trade and Industry-Mountain Province reported that the 11 exhibitors from the province generated collective sales of P2, 151,585.00 during the 2022 IMPAKABSAT Trade Fair held on November 19-30 at Festival Mall Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila.

These   exhibitors are the AG’s Furniture Shop, Gabay Wines and Fruit Preserves, Guesang Farmers Organization Inc., Happy House Café and Resto, Katagowan Weaving and Souvenirs, Log Cabin Sagada, Makhuways Peanut Butter, Rose Ann’s Fabric Gallery, Sagada Arabica Coffee Growers and Processors Association, and Sagada Pottery and Nesmar Enterprises.

In an interview with DTI-Mountain Province Trade Promotion Officer Aiza F. Apil, she shared that the IMPAKABSAT Trade Fair is a great way for the MSMEs to reach wider potential clients.  But she said these entrepreneurs need the help of local government units to further enhance and promote their products.

“We hope that the local officials encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to push for product development because there is a huge market, it’s just that they need to develop their products, the right packaging, the right labeling, use media and to depend on the demands of the market” she said.

Meanwhile, the 11 exhibitors thanked all those who have patronized their products and those who have contributed to their success. In a facebook post they stated;

“To DTI Cordillera Administrative Region for organizing the fair to provide us opportunity in bringing our products outside CAR
