Ifugao volunteers’  group  helps school children

LAMUT, Ifugao (PIA) - - Pupils of the Numpaling Elementary School in Asipulo town benefited from the outreach activity of the Ifugao Volunteers Organization, Inc. (IVOI) dubbed "Baddang hi Uunga" (Help to Children).

Learners received assorted school supplies, food packs, hygiene kits, foot wears, and clothing bought through donations of kindhearted individuals and organizations through the IVOI members.

More than 30 individuals and offices responded to the call of the organization that led to the successful conduct of the “Baddang hi Uunga” that aimed to stimulate and promote volunteerism, community leadership and involvement in humanitarian services

"We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our donors and agencies who have made great contribution for the success of the event. May you continue to support our advocacies," the   IVOI stated.

IVOI is a nonprofit private organization of volunteers regardless of age, gender, status or personal life inclination, with the goal of “Baddang,” the local term for bayanihan. (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
