CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth)-10 expands and enhances its five benefit packages as it celebrates 28 years of health care service with the theme, "Pinalawak at mga Bagong Benepisyo para sa Mamamayang Filipino."
Delio Aseron, Regional Vice President, PhilHealth-10, enumerated the five enhanced benefit packages in the pipeline: the outpatient benefit package for mental health; the outpatient benefit package for severe acute malnutrition for children below 5 years old and below; the expansion of benefits under Konsulta; the expansion of case rates for dialysis; and the enhancement of selected Z benefits.
"We hope na by offering pro-active assistance, maramdaman ng ating mga kababayan sa Mindanao ang importansya ng PhilHealth," said Aseron during the Talakayan sa PIA, media forum at SM Downtown CDO, February 15.

RVP Aseron shared that they have launched a Short Messaging Service (SMS) Blast where they provide information on Benefit Payment Notice, payment deadline reminders, PhilHealth advisories, anti-fraud awareness, and the Notice of Approval of Accreditation.
PhilHealth 10 also strengthened its partnership with the Indigenous Peoples (IP) community and its 105 newly registered former rebels, Aseron continued.
"This milestone could not have been possible without your relentless support and dedication to ensure that Filipinos have continuous access to affordable and quality health care services," said Aseron.
There are currently 84 Konsulta Providers in the region: 26 in Misamis Oriental, 16 in Misamis Occidental, 23 in Lanao del Norte, and 19 in Bukidnon; all catering to the 1,869,047 people that are recorded as registered members of PhilHealth-10.
As of December 2022, a total of P4,082,525,473.86 worth of claims had been paid by PhilHealth-10 for its members in the region.
