PESO Manager Cecilia Claire Reyes recently and Isabela Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Madelyn Macalling agreed to work together in the implementation of the said program.
Reyes said the initiative of PESO Isabela aims to guide the SHS students in making informed career choices especially in addressing job skills mismatch.
“The PESO's role is to provide the Labor Market information that are timely and relevant to in-demand jobs, and address skills shortage,” Reyes said.
She expressed her thanks to DepEd Isabela officials for acceding to her request of partnership to ensure that all SHS students in the province will be guided on what career they will take when enrolling in college.
Reyes is hopeful that the right information and guidance in choosing the students’ future careers will be absorbed and considered when they will enroll in college. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
