MISAMIS ORIENTAL (PIA) --The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Misamis Oriental urged would-be entrepreneurs to avail of the services offered by its Negosyo Centers to better guide them as they start up their own businesses.
“The Negosyo Center is a flagship program of the government through the Department of Trade and Industry to promote and develop our Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in our locality. This is also our strategy to develop and help our entrepreneurs in different municipalities and cities,” said DTI-Misamis Oriental Provincial Director Almer Masillones during the latest episode of 'Talakayan sa PIA-Misamis Oriental', April 25.
Through Republic Act 10644 or otherwise known as the "Go Negosyo Act," DTI-Misamis Oriental fosters the ease of doing business and facilitates access to government services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Negosyo Centers established in the province.
The Negosyo Centers offer various programs such as mentoring, one-on-one coaching, business information, and all the necessary information needed to start, expand, invest, or sustain a business.
Masillones underscored that although starting a business is a huge gamble, there are already MSMEs that have availed of the program and become successful entrepreneurs and have expanded.
She also shared that success lies in the willingness of individuals to take a leap of faith in starting up and having an eagerness to learn and be coached not just by their office but by other fellow successful entrepreneurs as well.
DTI-Misamis Oriental reminds the public that training, mentoring, and the necessary assistance to start or expand a business are just within reach by visiting their office or the nearest Negosyo Center. (JAKA/PIA10)
