He added, “Sa first page, mababasa ang brief history ng Vigan, sunod iyong impormasyon ng may ari ng passport, mayroon ding quickie Ilocano [language lesson] para sa mga hindi makaintindi or marunong mag-Ilokano, at makikita rin dito ang ilan sa mga famous sons and daughters ng siyudad, at iba pa.”
When a visitor purchases items or avails services from partner establishments in the city, they can get special stamp/s on their passport in which they can earn points and later be redeemed for special discounts and freebies.
The city government added the booklet comes with locally-made items like Vigan Longganisa, Abel Iloko products, or mini burnay jars, which will be based on the visitor’s preference.
“May QR code rin dito na kapag ini-scan ay lalabas lahat ng tourist spots, parang tourist guide map na makikita nila ang actual picture kung saan sila pwedeng pumunta o mamasyal. All-in-one na ito,” Mayor Singson added.
It is available in three colors – dark shades of red, green, and blue.
The Vigan Tourism Passport can be purchased at designated booths or online around the city.
