CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - A satellite office of Vice President Sara Duterte was formally opened in this province last April 24, 2023 particularly in barangay San Fermin in Cauayan City, Isabela.

It is the 8th satellite office of the Office of the Vice President established in the country which aims to extend assistance and services of the office to the residents of Northern Luzon.

“Ang Isabela Satellite Office ay pangwalo na sa mga naitayong tanggapan ng ating opisina upang higit pang palawakin ang pagbibigay ng tulong at serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan sa malalayong lugar sa Northern Luzon. Ang walong sattelite offices ay itinatag upang matiyak na ang mga serbisyong inaalok ng OVP ay maibibigay din sa mga taong naninirahan sa labas ng National Capital Region,” Vice President Sara Duterte said in her video message during the opening ceremony.

The other satellite offices in the country are located in Zamboanga City, Cebu City, Davao City, Tacloban City, Tandag City in Surigao del Sur, Dagupan City, and Bacolod City. 

Gov. Rodolfo Albano III, Vice Gov. Faustino G. Dy III, OVP Administrative and Financial Services Director Atty. Rosalynne L. Sanchez, OVP Spokesperson Atty. Reynold Munsayac, OVP Isabela Satellite Office head Maria Laiza Frogoso - Pamittan and other officials of the province were present during the opening of the said satellite office. 

On the other hand, the OVP Public Assistance Division has reported that a total of P398, 940, 819.56 were disbursed for medical and burial assistance program from July 1, 2022 up to present. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
