Kadiwa ng Pangulo features fresh fruits, vegetables, and rice at a low cost while helping participating associations broaden their market through exposure such as this activities.
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) -- One of the highlight activities in this year’s 121st Labor Day celebration is the launching of "Kadiwa ng Pangulo" last May 2, 2023 at the Provincial Capitol Complex, Camilmil, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
The Kadiwa Market boasts its fresh vegetables, fruits, crops, and plants at a low cost, all of which are produced by the nine associations that participated in during the event.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), together with the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro and Department of Agriculture, spearheaded the activity, which aims to help the participants in augmenting their earnings by facilitating and organizing this kind of activities.
The Kadiwa ng Pangulo also aims to provide low cost agricultural commodities such as: rice, vegetables, and fruits.
Kadiwa sellers will also receive P355.00 per day as part of DOLE’s livelihood assistance to the participating associations.
The Kadiwa Market in the Provincial Capitol will last until May 5, 2023. (JJGS/PIA MIMAROPA)
