Over 25 employers and recruitment agencies will participate in the job fair as international companies are looking to fill around 1,400 vacancies.

Domestic corporations and industries, on the other hand, have more than 3,000 job vacant positions.

The conduct of the Manggahan job fair is in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Guimaras, Provincial Economic Development Office and Labor and Employment Services.

“This is an opportunity for employers to provide employment opportunities to qualified job seekers and to promote Guimaras’ human resource of professional and skilled workers,” according to the Capitol press release.

A familiarization tour of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and tourism sites for the employers was held on May 5, 2023, to give the companies a glimpse of the economic landscape of Guimaras and its human resource potential.
