PALAYAN CITY (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed two infrastructure projects inside Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija.
 
These were implemented under the Tatag ng Imprastaktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad, a convergence program of DPWH and Department of National Defense.
 
DPWH Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad disclosed that the P55-million 7th Infantry Division (7ID) Grandstand is equipped with a sound system that will serve as a venue for military activities.
 
Adjacent to the grandstand is the two-storey, 38-room 7ID Center which was designed to enhance the Army’s operational capabilities.
 
“It also includes amenities such as 38 air-conditioning units and a water pumping system,” Trinidad added.
 
The infrastructure will serve as a hub for training, strategic planning, and coordination among military units stationed in the region, bolstering the country's defense capabilities and readiness. (CLJD-PIA 3)
