CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) -- The SM City Cauayan kicked off the Christmas countdown 100 days before the celebration of Christmas Day on December 25, 2023, with a grand fireworks display held inside the mall.

The activity was held on the night of September 16, 2023, at the mall’s roof top, where a spectacle of lights, colors, music, and fireworks was witnessed by mallgoers and spectators alike.

SM City Cauayan Public Relations Manager Krystal Gayle Agbulig said the fireworks display on the night of September 16 signaled the start of the much-awaited 100-day countdown, where the pyro-musical show ignited the senses of spectators and brightened up the night skyline of Cauayan City, where the mall is located.

"The delightful and magnificent display of multi-colored fireworks staged by the country’s pyrotechnic experts left an impressive and unforgettable sight for over 12,000 Isabeleños," Agbulig said.

She said the magical show of dazzling colors and light synchronized to pop music indeed made it a night to remember for families, friends, and young and old alike, as it marks the beginning of the longest Christmas season in the world—the Christmas season in the Philippines. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
