The funds for the purchase of the said vehicles came from the award, as the town is one of the recipients of the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance—Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF) and from the Local Government Support Fund—Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), where the LGU received P5 million in each of the award categories.
Quirino Mayor Edward Juan said the vehicles will be used to enhance accessibility to the remote and far-flung schools and barangays, increase visibility in the community, and help in addressing urgent matters in the municipality.
Mayor Juan expressed her thanks to the DILG for the support extended in complying with the numerous requirements in passing the SGLG, which resulted in getting the cash award and using it for the purchase of vehicles to be used by the locality that will serve the residents.

The LGU Quirino acquires an additional 2 ambulances and 3 patrol vehicles to be used in serving their constituents. The funds used to purchase the said vehicles derive from the awards received as passers in the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance: Incentive Fund (sglg-if) and Local Government Support Fund - Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU).
