QUEZON CITY– The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) – Presidential Car Museum (PCM) will be re-opened on 13 December 2024, Friday at the Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City at 10:30 a.m.
For several months, the PCM has undergone repair and improvement to bring a better museum experience to the public. With its re-opening, a new and colorful gallery, the TASK Central Hub will be featured.
Aimed to teach kids ‘Tamang Asal Sa Kalsada’ or proper road conduct, it is an interactive exhibit exploring the rules of the road safety and etiquette. This new attraction completes the PCM journey of history on wheels.
NHCP Executive Director Carminda Arevalo and Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina ‘Joy’ Belmonte will deliver messages along with San Miguel Corporation, which sponsored the museum’s newest gallery.
The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and marking of historic sites and structures. (NHCP)
