MANILA – The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) will launch its newest and biggest public event for History Month 2024 on 23 August 2024 at the Gateway Mall 2, Araneta City, Quezon City. histoEx (History to Experience) brings together national and local government offices, non-government organizations, and MSMEs for a gathering and celebration of our history. It promises to bring history to reality with the goal of bridging the gap between learning and experiencing the past.
Apart from exhibitors and retailers from across the country, visitors can also expect a full schedule of talks, lectures, demonstrations, and performances from historical reenactment groups, cultural performing groups, public historians, and more.
The exposition will run from 23 to 25 August 2024 and is made possible with the support of Araneta City, Gateway Mall, and the J. Amado Araneta Foundation.
The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications, and to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historic sites and structures. (NHCP)
