Northbound portions of Roxas Blvd. EDSA flyover to partially close for repairs

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region announced the partial closure of the Northbound portions of Roxas Boulevard EDSA flyover starting Friday evening to give way to repairs.

According to DPWH, personnel from the South Manila District Engineering Office (SMDEO) will conduct concrete repair activities on the northbound portions of the Roxas Boulevard EDSA Flyover, beside the expansion joint starting October 4, Friday at 10:00 p.m. until October 9 (Wednesday), 5:00 a.m.

The minor repairs, covering one lane at a time, will take place at the inner lane of the flyover from October 4 to 6, 2024, requiring partial closure of the affected area. Once repairs have been completed in the inner lane, repairs on the outer lane will start from October 7 to 9, 2024.

DPWH-SMDEO assures that the flyover will remain passable to all types of vehicles during the repairs. Motorists are also advised to expect traffic slowdowns in the affected areas, and to use alternative routes.

The repair project is part of DPWH-NCR’s commitment to improving road safety and efficiency, addressing the rectification needs of major thoroughfares in the National Capital Region. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
