BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) – At least 1,600 college students from public and private schools in the province of Nueva Vizcaya received financial assistance from the provincial government.
The P4.8 million educational assistance was given to the college students at P3,000.00 each.
Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Flordelina Granada said the beneficiaries came from the Nueva Vizcaya State University – Bayombong and Bambang campuses, St. Mary’s University, PLT College, Aldersgate College and Kings College of the Philippines in Bambang.
She also said other students studying outside the province were also given the same assistance.
“This assistance is aimed at helping our students in facing the challenges of education. We believe that this investment will help in shaping the future and development of our province,” Granada said. (OTB/ BME/PIA NVizcaya)
