PILI, Camarines Sur (PIA) – The Office of the President will conduct a job fair for graduating beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), offering up to 3,000 vacancies from more than 50 employers.
The job fair, dubbed “Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas,” will take place today, March 7, at the Fuerte Camarines Sur Sports Complex in this town.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
According to Imelda Gatinao, the DOLE regional director for Bicol, the job fair aims to provide 4Ps beneficiaries, especially women, with access to opportunities to contribute to nation-building.
“Through this initiative, we aim to provide opportunities across different industries, allowing individuals to build their personal and economic progress. We encourage everyone to explore the possibilities available through the DOLE to achieve a brighter future,” Gatinao said.
There are several job openings available, including positions for customer service representatives, sales personnel, cashiers, drivers, delivery helpers, service crew, baggers, and factory workers.
Participating employers are also seeking HR associates, finance associates, accounting and procurement staff, field reporters, civil engineers, financial analysts, and other job roles. (PIA5)
