MANILA, (PIA) — Organizers have extended the nomination deadline and unveiled honorary winners for the second LEAF Tertulia at Parangal 2024” or the Philippine LEAF Awards celebrating the country’s culture and arts.

The February 8, 2024 awards gala hosted by Pixel Art Media will now accept nominations until December 10, 2023 across categories like music, theater, dance and fashion. The extension allows broader participation in the event held at the Manila Metropolitan Theater.

True Filipino Artists will be an integral part of this grand event,” said LEAF Founder and Head Juror for Music, Frank G. Rivera. Rivera shared the stage with current LEAF President, esteemed TV and live events director, CJ Andaluz, who also serves as the Creative and Managing Director of Pixel Art Media Production Company.

Five Filipinos have also been named early honorees, to be conferred the Beacon for Culture and Arts Award at the ceremony. The list includes composer and National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, former National Commission for Culture and the Arts head Nick Lizaso, Congressman Christopher “Toff” de Venecia, dance school founder Shirley Halili-Cruz and Tarlac Governor Susan Yap.
