CATARMAN, Northern Samar (PIA) — Over 2,000 families benefitted from the joint Lab for All (Lingap at Alagang Bayanihan) Special Project and the19th Kauswagan Caravan held recently in Brgy. Victoria, this province.
The activity was spearheaded by the provincial government of Northern Samar, in partnership with national agencies, private sectors, and organizations, where they distributed goods and provided various services to the residents of five clustered and nearby barangays.
Services rendered included dental and medical services, circumcision, vaccination, mass treatment for schistosomiasis, legal counseling, registration for Philhealth, LTO, and National ID.
Other sectors provided goods, food and grocery packs, school supplies, slippers while other agencies distributed vegetable seedlings, and fruit bearing trees and fingerlings, among others.
One senior citizen, Norma Anongod of Brgy. Lagundi, expressed her gratitude to the government for bringing the services closer to the people. (MMP/ADiaz/PIA Northern Samar)
