QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Over 65,000 job vacancies are up for grabs on Labor Day across key industries such as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Construction, Wholesale and Retail Trade, Tourism and Hospitality, Transport and Logistics, Health and Wellness, and more, according to the Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR).
This is in line with the Marcos administration’s celebration of the 123rd Araw ng Paggawa, DOLE-NCR is bringing jobseekers closer to their dream careers through simultaneous job fairs across Metro Manila on May 1.
With the theme “Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas (Filipino Workers, Partners in Progress, Pillars of a Stronger New Philippines),” this year’s Labor Day activities aim to empower Filipino workers and highlight their essential role in building a stronger nation.
Here is the list of the 14 venues to explore for employment opportunities in NCR:

- Parañaque City Hall Sports Complex
- Vista Mall, Taguig
- Robinsons Las Piñas

- Pateros Municipal Hall Quadrangle
- SM City Marikina
- SM City East Ortigas, Pasig City
- Alabang Public Market, Muntinlupa City
- SM City Valenzuela
To make the application process easier, DOLE-NCR will also offer one-stop-shop services — from free resume printing to 1×1 ID photo services — at the job fair sites.
Job hunters are reminded to bring important documents such as resumes and other pre-employment requirements.
