Ozamiz barangays receive covered courts, health station

OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA) — The City Government of Ozamiz turned over new covered courts to Barangays Embargo and Tinago, and a health station to Barangay Carangan, as part of its ongoing infrastructure initiatives.

“These projects are not just structures—they are symbols of progress and commitment,” said Mayor Indy Oaminal.

The covered courts will serve as multipurpose venues for barangay assemblies, sports events, youth programs, and disaster response efforts.

In Barangay Carangan, the new Barangay Health Station offers dedicated spaces for consultations, maternal care, and immunization services, making essential healthcare more accessible to residents.

“Dili kini mahimong posible kung walay panaghiusa. Ang among paningkamot para sa kaayohan sa katawhan, usa ka padayon nga panaw (this cannot be possible without unity. Our effort for the welfare of the people is a continuous journey),” Oaminal said, emphasizing that community support plays a vital role in making such projects possible.
