Ozamiz unveils mini chess corner: A new hub for youth

OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA) — Inspiring local youth, the city government of Ozamiz opened the Asenso Ozamiz Mini Chess Corner at the Wellness Park on November 3.
 
“The Mini Chess Corner is not just a recreational area but a commitment to the intellectual and personal growth of the city’s youth,” Vice Mayor Simplicia Neri said. She emphasized that chess teaches valuable life skills like discipline and strategic planning.
